About ICOSAHOM 2025

Running since 1989, the International Congress on Spectral and High-Order Methods (ICOSAHOM) provides an international venue for researchers and practitioners with an interest in the theoretical, computational and applied aspects of high-order and spectral methods for the solution of differential equations. The upcoming 2025 conference will be hosted at McGill University in downtown Montréal.

  • Minisymposium Proposal Submissions: July 15, 2024 - October 15, 2024
  • Abstract Submissions: November 1, 2024 - January 31, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: February 15, 2025
  • Early Registration: February 15, 2025 - April 15, 2025
  • Standard Registration: April 16, 2025 to May 30, 2025
  • Late Registration: June 1, 2025 - July 14, 2025

Minisymposium Submissions

Minisymposium submissions are now open! These are traditionally a core component of ICOSAHOM conferences. They highlight special topics and recent developments in the theory and application of high-order and spectral methods.

General Information

  • Talks consist of a 25-minute presentation and five minutes for discussion
  • Session blocks will be two hours long and consist of four talks each
  • There will be no max limit on the number of sessions in a minisymposium
  • There is a limit of 2 talks per participant across the conference

Submission Instructions

  • If you are interested in organizing a minisymposium, please submit a proposal with the following:
  • Name and affiliation of the organizers (listed as "authors" in the portal)
  • Minisymposium title
  • Minisymposium abstract describing the topic and relevance (5,000 characters max)
  • List of speakers with their names, affiliations, and tentative titles
  • Comments for the conference organizing committee (optional)

ICOSAHOM 2025 will be hosted at McGill University in the heart of Downtown Montréal. McGill is one of Canada's best-known institutions of higher learning and one of the leading universities in the world. It is bordered to the north by Mont Royal, providing beatiful views of the island, and to the south by the St. Lawrence River, which contains several islands surrounding the main island of Montréal.
